A community hub with room for local life
Harrowbarrow and Metherell Village Hall is a Voneus community hub for the wider area. The volunteer-run venue hosts clubs, groups, film screenings and local events, with spaces that can also be hired for community and private occasions.
The hall is in Harrowbarrow and serves communities around Metherell. Its inclusion here reflects the confirmed hub relationship; it does not add Harrowbarrow to this page’s agreed availability list.
A colourful Bere Alston community story
In 2024, Voneus supported Bere Alston in Bloom by commissioning artwork for three local fibre cabinets ahead of the Britain in Bloom judging. The same Voneus story also records support for Bere Alston FC through a contribution towards its pitch mower fund.
The project offers a useful example of an established local relationship, while current broadband availability should still be checked for each property.
